I dedicate this book to all the people who inspired me to write it; the artists, friends, and family in my life who made this possible, but there are a few folks I need to thank individually as well.
My editor, Pamela Guerrieri, deserves the credit for bringing Immortal Temptation to the publication level. All the success this book achieves will be directly because of her passion for the story as well as her expertise on publication. The icing on the cake is she is such a friendly and wonderful person to work with that it made the tedium of going over the manuscript again a pleasant experience. Here’s to a wonderful lady!
I also want to give a REALLY BIG thanks to my friend, vocalist, and songwriter Kelly Keeling. Kelly was my "resident expert" on Los Angeles, answering endless questions about landmarks and other trivia about the city with patience and great attention to detail.
Then there's Sebastian Bach. He deserves his own line. He may not even remember his positive e-mail response to me early on in this project in regards to me using him as a prototype for the character Victor Wolfe, but it meant the world to me. He will always be my immortal “Youth Gone Wild”. THANKS, Baz!
Gordon Analla, the prototype for my character Jareth DeFranco, deserves a very special thank-you. I’ve known Gordon for years and he is one of the most beautiful souls ever born and a very dear friend. I put not only his physical description but his heart into the character Jareth.
Susan Gard, the woman whose physical attributes and extreme energy lent themselves to my character Daphne Anderson, also deserves special thanks. She is an inspiring woman. Thanks, Susan!
These people have taught me so much about the creative process on so many levels! All my artistic endeavors are better because of their input! |
